Kitchen and bathroom fitters in Leeds

A new kitchen involves a plumber, an electrician, a joiner, a plasterer, a tiler and a decorator, usually in that order. A bathroom is the same in a smaller room. Most of the headaches come from waiting for one trade to finish before the next can start.

Every one of those trades sits on the same quote, with one person booking them in, so the room is out of action for as short a time as possible.

Scope of work

  • Kitchen strip-out and fitting
  • Bathrooms, en-suites and shower rooms
  • Wet rooms and walk-in showers
  • Wall and floor tiling
  • Plumbing, electrics and extraction
  • Plastering and decorating after the fit
  • Fitting units and suites bought by you

What gets checked at the survey

  • Where the waste can run and how much fall it has
  • Water pressure and the state of the existing pipework
  • Whether the electrics can take new appliances and lighting
  • The condition of the walls and floor once the old room is out

How the job is handled

We fit kitchens and bathrooms you have chosen from a supplier, or price the units and sanitaryware as well. Either way, the fitting is priced from the plan, not guessed.

You get a running order before the old room comes out, so you know how long you will be without a kitchen or a bathroom.

In Leeds

In many Leeds terraces the bathroom was added to an old bedroom or the back of the kitchen decades ago, so the waste route is often the thing that decides where a toilet or shower can go.

FAQs

Kitchens & Bathrooms questions

Can you fit a kitchen I have bought myself?

Yes. Plenty of customers buy from a supplier and have us fit it. Send the plan or order list with your enquiry so the fitting can be priced properly.

How long does a bathroom refit take?

It depends on what is changing. Like-for-like is quickest; moving the toilet, building a wet room or re-plastering adds time. The quote gives you the number of working days.

Do you do the electrics and plastering as well?

Yes. Plumbing, electrics, plastering, tiling and decorating are all on the one quote.

Can a wet room go upstairs?

Usually, but the floor has to be built up or the joists adjusted to give a fall to the drain, and the whole area must be fully tanked. The survey checks whether the floor allows it.

Planning work that involves more than one trade?

One point of contact coordinates every trade, in the right order, from survey to sign-off.
